The takeaway that I got from Coco Avant Chanel, which Lisa and I saw last week in our ongoing mission to watch all low-plot French movies available, is this: when the going gets tough, the tough turn to lovely tweed. That might just speak to my pro-tweed prejudices rather than the filmmakers’ intentions, but I am pleased to see Ms Chanel endorsing it here. (via somethingchanged)
